I'm noticing really long load times (sometimes having to just hit refresh a few times) on all of the GeoPress pages that display a map (i.e. the Locations default settings page and any new posts). Has anyone else experienced this latency? It's been happening for more than 24 hours, otherwise I might blame Google (the map provider I'm using).

Posted 2 years ago #I noticed that if I removed the google API key, the problem went away. I'll debug some more and report back.

Posted 2 years ago #Turns out that I was trying to run the Google Maps behind an https connection (for testing) and this isn't allowed by Google unless you're a premier customer http://code.google.com/apis/maps/faq.html#ssl
