Geo Mashup
[resolved] No info window for custom post types and taxonomies. (3 posts)

I'm extending a site with a business directory.
To do so, I've created a custom post type and a custom taxonomy.

I've installed geo mashup, with a map for the individual post type template, and another for the custom taxonomy template. Both maps show up, and pins appear for the listings as expected.

However, the info window popup doesn't load when the marker is clicked.

For A/B comparison, I added map calls to single.php and archive.php (i.e. for the 'post' post type) and the info window loads fine for that context.

What do I need to do to get it working for the custom post type and custom taxonomy archive?

It would be easier to help if you could supply a link, but if you've got maps outside the loop you may be getting a contextual map, which have different default settings than global maps. You can force a global map by setting the map_content parameter to 'global'. You can also change the settings in the back end under Settings / Geo Mashup / Contextual Maps.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I got it going with some tweaking relative to the loop positioning. The single map was within the "while" part of the loop - moving it outside the "while" but inside the "if" fixed it.
