• I’f got a large database of stores that I’m looking to import and am looking to a location radius search, so I’m looking at Geo Mashup.
I’ve added geo_latitude and geo_longitude fields to the .csv file. I’ve also enabled the “Copy Geodata Meta Fields” feature in the Geo Mashup plugin settings.
After the import, the Geo fields show up properly, but Geo Mashup doesn’t seem to recognize them.
If I manually add the location to a post, everything is stored in the same was as in my .csv import.

Does anybody have any tips or hints on what else I could look into?

    Thank you!

    Best,
    Tom

    to addt to that:
both geo_enable and geo_public are set as “1”.

    one more thing:
the Geolocation plugin works fine with just the imported data. So it seems that the “Copy Geodata meta fields” option in only triggered when a post is saved. Is there any other way to accomplish this?

@vlandnik, i’d also be interested to know about a good method for importing geolocation data.

Did you find a good workflow ?
