Hello, I just want to report that this plugin is generating a php error which slowdown sites using cache plugins.

[16-Mar-2014 04:17:25 UTC] PHP Warning: preg_match(): Empty regular expression in /home/accountttt/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pinterest-badge/pinterestbadgehelper.php on line 317

I think this behaviour begun with WP 3.8.
I had to deactivate it because started generating long timeouts upon cache creation with W3 Total Cache and PHP 5.4.
Please notice that your plugin used to behave very well. Now, in despite of timeouts, it still retrieved the images from Pinterest as expected. So, I don't know why is this happenning.
    Can you check it out?

    Thanks

I don't think this is a PHP issue. More of your server not able to perform post requests. If you still have this problem, please get back with a URL with the badge.
