• This plugin works like expected on all the single/detail pages, but on the index and search pages (basically everywhere where you get a “preview” of the posts) it displays “UA:F [1.9.3_1094]Rating: 0 (from 0 votes)

This only happens on posts where the entire post is short enough to display entirely on search and index pages.

Is this a known problem or do I need to gather more data. Might it be theme specific. I’m using the LightBright Theme from “Elegant Themes” who generally makes pretty good themes that never caused any weird quircks before.

B.t.w., I’m only using the thumbs part of this plugin, not the star-rating stuff.

Caused by bad use of excerpts (plugin can recognize the functions call’s but not with every theme, some of them are working with excerpts in a very bad way). Until you get new proper theme, or fix the one you use, disable auto inserting ratings on home page (plugin settings for auto insertion for rating types).

Great! That was a pretty quick solution! 😀 Totally overlooked the option not to auto-insert on the frontpage. It’s even better this way, keeping the frontpage nice and clean.

Thanks for the quick response giving both the cause -and- a solution. Great work!
