Just curious if you can support other plugin’s custom post types?

I tried a couple of them and finally found yours which seems the most complete one.

Using your plugin I can see custom post types created by other plugins but I can’t edit them.

Supporting this would be great as it makes it easier to switch to your plugin from other plugin.

The last plugin I used was called CMS press

Well, this is good idea, and I actually plan to allow editing of all including default post types and taxonomies. It would be interesting to change some Posts parameters or some Categories elements. But, I can confirm that this will not be a part of Lite (free) edition of plugin because that level of customization will require testing and support that I can only provide for Pro version.

Its a pity as the free/lite version already picks up the custom post types I created with CMS Press but I can’t edit them as the edit link looks like this:

    http://mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=gdtaxtools_postypes&pid=&action=edit

It seems its kinda lacking the pid so I created a sample custom post type with your plugin just to see where this PID gets stored but couldn’t figure it out unfortunately 🙁

The problem is that I’d like to discontinue using the other plugin and switch to yours but I won’t be able to edit the custom post types that other plugin created, thus forcing me to delete them and recreate them with your plugin which is quite a mission 🙁

so maybe if you have an option to make switching to your plugin easier, I’d be much obliged!

Recreating custom post type can’t take more than 1 minute. No data will be lost as long as you use the same name (top field on my plugin editor for post type).
