    Hi

Can you help me to resolve one issue with the Gallery? Everything is running fine up to one point. The Description is add to the image but when I open an image it has no description in it just "image 1 of 0000".

    Please see luciepacovska.com

Do you know how to fix it? also would be great if you can help me changing font and color of the writing in the gallery.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

As we can see 'description' under the image has a normal view (for example: "Ahead", Oil on Board - SOLD).

also would be great if you can help me changing font and color of the writing in the gallery.

Could you please be more specific and provide a screenshot with detailed description, after that we will provide you necessary instructions.

In order to change text in the 'description' it is necessary to add string below into 'style.css' file of your theme:

    .gllr_single_image_text { color: #888888; font: your_font_style}

Follow the link below to find out more:

Hi, please delete the quotation marks from the description - it breaks the html structure and that is why description does not get in the attribute "title" and so lightbox does not show the blank title. Sincerely!

Hi, I tried using the code you said for changing the font family & color for the description, but it didn't affect it at all. What do?

Thanks for the advise. It works just fine now. But there is an another issue. The content (writing) is too long sometimes for the length of the picture and it doesn't continue to other row. Is there any way how to delete "image 1/10" and spread the title to two rows?

For example To have the title in one line and additional info about painting in the other row?

    Thanks a million!!

Lucie, this is not a plugin, how much text you typed so much is displayed under the picture and accordingly in the lightbox. Sincerely, Tatyana

    My gallery is at http://cruisesuz.com/gallery/travel-photo-gallery-2.
I added your code to the admin.style.css file. My theme has no file called style.css. Now when I edit the gallery, the caption of each photo appears when the cursor is placed over the photo. However, when I'm in my gallery on my site placing the cursor over a photo has no effect, and the caption does not appear when I click to open the full photo either. Can you please help?

Actually, I found the style.css file and added the code. The results were the same as described in my previous comment.

I am also having the issue of no description showing up - http://raygungirls.com/visual-artists/

I entered the Description and Caption field in the Media section of WordPress, as I found no way to do that in the Gallery area.

    Hello,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the gallery in the admin panel. It is possible that the reason of this issue that you didn't fill 'description' field in the admin panel.

I am also having the issue of no description showing up - http://raygungirls.com/visual-artists/

Oksana, I don't understand what you want!

    (1) When I download a photo into the gallery, at no time am I allowed to enter or change any information.
    (2) Once the image is downloaded and part of the gallery, there doesn't seem to be any way to edit it to add a "description". The only option I have is the "delete" button below the image.
    (3) I can go into my WordPress "media library", however. There I can see all images downloaded into the BWS gallery. I can also edit each to add a "description" or a "caption". But after adding both, neither the "description" nor the "caption" appears in the BWS gallery.

If I send you a screen shot of am image edit screen from the WordPress media library, it will show both a description and a caption.

If I send you a screen shot of the BWS gallery in view mode, you will see the images only.

If I send you a screen shot of the BWS gallery in edit mode, you will see all the photos, and each will have a delete button under it. There are no options to edit, or to insert a caption or a description.

I am not sending a screen shot because I don't know which one you want.

Can you please help, respond more quickly, and be clearer as to what I should do to make your program work?

    Thank you.

    Andrew

    Andrew,

There is a screenshot. Under image you can see a field for description, under that field - the 'Delete' link. If you don't have such kind of view, then it is possible that your styles in the admin panel are incorrect. This means that you have too large image and description field is hidden for some reason.

    Regards,
    Oksana

I see no "screenshot". When I use the "screenshot" link in your response above, I see a test image which only has a "delete" button below it, no "screenshot" or "description". How can I correct this?
