    Hi Jeff,

    Thank you for your help. I opened this new thread to give you more information.

    I am using this theme: http://www.blogohblog.com/wordpress-theme-black-and-white/

    On my website it is lokking like this: http://speakerheadz.com

    Here is my problem:
    When I activate the widget in the admins menu. And enable the plugin in the plugins options, the slideshow is not shwing on my frontpage. And that is not the only problem, because all text and blog pictures are missing! I can only see Titels and blank blog spaces.

    When I deactivate the widget in the menu, all the text is back. And my blog is back to normal.

    What am I doing wrong? The only thing I did was activate and enable the plugin. I din not changed any code (ever on my blog) or use shortcode.

    I hope you can helo me, because using the Slideshow would be awesome!

    Thank you!

    That one is Great also. The problem is I don't know anything about code and changing them. I'm really affraid to ruin my website.

    Lets say I want it on top of my frontpage under the header and menu but above my blogs. Where do I need t put the code?

    The default way to insert the plugins (on front-page) is working fine only if you are using a static page as a front-page. I you dont, you got to use the shortcode way and use it into a post body or a text-box into the sidebar or put some code where you want the slide to be shown.

    In your case, you just have to activate the plugin, to configure it to be inserted using the shortcode and put the following code at the very end of the header.php file of your theme :

    <?php
    // added by Bartheemskerk to show the front-page slideshow
    echo do_shortcode('[FrontpageSlideshow]');
    ?>

    Not so difficult and if you want to delete the slideshow : you just have to remove that code.

    Finaly : just tweak the slider to fit your needs. You can test this sample code (instead of the one before) to have an instant good-looking integration :

    <?php
    // added by Bartheemskerk to show the front-page slideshow
    echo do_shortcode('[FS-TEST fs_main_width=100% fs_slide_width=85% fs_buttons_width=15%]');
    ?>

    Let me know if you are ok now.

    Thank you I will try it on my localhost first.

    But one question left: How can I change the size of my images? I insert my pictures as thumbnails, because otherwise they are to big for my blog to show. But the Slideshow also only the thums. Is it possible to solve this problem? Or will I have to use an other theme?

    You can use the fs-picture custom parameter each time you want to display another or bigger image in slides. Have a look at this :
