I am using frontpage slideshow version : 0.9.9.3.3 but the images are not loading. Background image appeared when the blog loads but sliding does not start automatically(ie autoplay doesnot happen). Once the previous or next button is clicked it then starts automatically.

Just wanted to know whether it is possible to get the slide buttons to direct a visitor to the post from where the images have been pulled by the slideshow.

And There's only left ONE slideshow background image possible ("Drop here the image you want to use as slideshow background"), the others are backgrounds for buttons/hover, but I can't add any more pictures like in the version I used before!
Need help!

its just because you do not know how to use the plugin : images of slides are made of the first image (or specified image) of posts... the background image only allow you to use some texture as background... -
@writechoice do you have any problem using the plugin that is close to the thread subject ? if not, you are off topic : create your own thread.

Posted 1 year ago #Well, it used to work before and I had it set up correctly and it still is. The Artikles that are connected with slide-show pics still exists... but you are right, I forgot for the moment where to check. Harald.

To all : look at your javascripts errors, most of the time this behavior is caused by :
- a javascript error earyler on code
- a jQuery version conflict caused by another plugin or theme that uses CDN to include jQueryLooking on all your websites is taking very much time and I got no time at th emoment. So, please, look at your code by your selft, try to correct all javascript errors and avoid using of CDN, of downgrade to last stable version by going there : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/frontpage-slideshow/download/ and made a by hand install (just uncompress and copy the files...)

Running site with Atahualpa theme. Slideshow works in a post or by using a text widget on the downgraded version, but does not pull images when shortcode is placed in a page or when using front page option.
Does not pull images at all in the newest version on anything.
Disabled all plugins did not help.
This works for me so I will stick with it for now but will look for a bug fix in the future!

I don´t know why but the slideshow put my topmenu to the right side. Only in IE, in Firefox and Chrome is ok.
Why this? How can I fix it?

Posted 1 year ago #Update: does not actually work consistently to pull images even in downgraded version.
When I press ctrl-F5 to clear the cache and reload the page it works perfectly. When I try to visit another page and then return to home page or when I refresh page, it just spins and spins....
Frustrating.
Can't use plugin this way. Please help?

Posted 1 year ago #Downgraded down to .8 and was able to get it to correctly load in widget and in page! Tweaked the code to adjust the order it displays posts back to the most recent version and it works.
Isolated issue down to not being compatible with plugin called Widget Logic. Unfortunately my site depends on said widget to hold it all together.
