[Plugin: Frontpage-Slideshow] Editing any of the template file causes plugin to break!

I’m going nuts. All I want to do is remove the “important” from the title font-size so that I can override it to be larger, a setting that isn’t in the admin area. But when I remove !important, the whole thing breaks.

What’s going on here?
