Using an accessible editor? (4 posts)

What if I wanted to allow someone who's visually impaired to edit a post inline? I'm wondering, is it possible to make use of something like Fluid Accessible Rich Inline Edit or Fluid Accessible Inline Edit with this plug-in?

It might help the developer if you first explained what the issues are with the Front End Editor.

that's a good point. I'm not visually impaired myself but I'd imagine because FEE has elements floating over the page, these won't be noticed by screen readers. So, ideally, a link on the page would be available for the person to click, which then refreshes the page, which has an editor added into the page which is also WAI-ARIA accessible. Or something like that. Does this help?

That's not always a valid assumption to make. Have you asked some screen reader users to test it for you?
