[Plugin: Front-end Editor] Slug is changed when title is updated

When I use FEE to change the title of a post, the slug is also changed. I don’t think this is a good idea, since any links to the post will be broken, and search engine rankings will be lost. Is there a way to disable that? I didn’t see anything on the wiki or forums about it.
