   Hi Scribu,

   fixed: when editing the post content, the post date isn't updated

   Please, reverse the new 'fix'in 1.7 to update the post date on save (or at least make it optional). My flow of news articles is turned upside down if by any change I have to edit older messages. Even WordPress doesn't change the post date on update (they use post_modified and post_modified_gmt for the original post to show the modified date).
