   It would be REALLY nice to have some way of informing the user that there were edits that haven't been saved before they navigate away. If you change the focus away from the post you lose the 'save' button on the FEE, and users may think that their edits were saved if they got distracted.

   Yes, the root cause is that you can't edit multiple elements at once.

   I guess the safest way would be to actually perform a save when the user clicks away.
