• Just FYI, after refreshing my front end I couldn’t see an edit button, double clicking didn’t do anything, and no outline of any editable areas.

It is probably related to a conflict with one of the many other plugins I have installed. You can see a list here:
    http://milehighmarketing.com/website-plans/plugins/

Any known plugin conflicts? I guess worst case is I have to deactivate all plugins one-by-one to find the conflict, but that would take a lot of time. So if you have any other ideas or known conflicts that would help that would be really helpful.

My theme is customized pretty heavily.

    WPMU 2.9.1, FF3.6, Mac 10.6

    Thanks,
    Jeff

  • 1. Make sure you’re logged in.

    2. Go to the settings page and make sure you have the fields enabled and the highlight option checked.

    3. Next, check the HTML source of your front page and look for markup like this: <div id="fee_[...]" class="front-ed [...]"

    4. Other than that, disable all other plugins.

I had the same problem, but I COULD see the highlighting. Double clicking just selected the word. It was my caching plugin, W3 Total Cache. I had to turn off the caching to be able to edit.

    Neat plugin, though.

Not sure what it was but after a fresh install of WPMU 2.9.1 it is working now.

    Really love it, too…great plugin.

The only drawback I’ve seen is that I still have to resort to the page editor if I have any javascript or php within the page (since submitting to the code query window seems to cleanse code to some degree), but for regular text/content edits it works great.
