    Hi,

for first this is great plugin! I hope will be in future "integrated" to wordpress core.

Last version (1.9.3) changes (disables) second best feature from previous version. It was style inheritance from site. When the page section like content, title, meta and etc have been edited it takes actual style/design from page and use it in content editor. This was great because about 99% style of edited content was same for actual editing and after save.

    Question 2:
Didn't you think about use buil-in TinyMCE isteal 3rd party content editor ?

    Thanks for answers.

Yes, I know. I'm sorry about having to let that go. If I had more time on my hands, I would make CLEditor not use an iframe.

Thinking about it now, I could also make the title directly editable like that, instead of using an input.

As for TinyMCE, read the FAQ.

I think and you maybe will agree, WordPress need built-up project to better editing content.

Hmm, i try to search on internet, there isn't much True Inline Editors. Most of them use IFRAME to edit and then break up live editing. But there is promising project.

What do you think about this ?
    http://www.aloha-editor.org

It's true rich inline editor. Don't using Iframes, have support to HTML5, active development.
There is some early beta implementation for WordPress, but it isn't working on my instalation. :/ I want to try.

It looks very good. Check some examples, like this:

Did you think that i would be integrated within Front end editor ?

Rich fields are required only for Content field, and maybe Excerp and Meta fields. Others fields just inherited style from site and edit only text, didn't ?

The Aloha looks a lot slicker than the first time I checked it.

Seems like a perfect fit for Front-End Editor.

    I think I have a roadmap for FEE 2.0. :)

    Hot candidate. I'm impatient :)

Aloha has some great features. But i don't know how much complicated it will be to integrate Media library with Aloha.

Thanks, but if I understood correctly, it's for replacing the TinyMCE in the backend.

    That's comparatively easy. :-)

    Ah, i'm so blind :)

I wouldn't make any plans based on the shipping date of 2.0.

If you want to take a shot at it, feel free to make a fork on github:

If you really need the old inline styles, use the previous version (1.9.2.1):

To clarify, I do intend to switch to Aloha editor if at all possible. I just need to find some time for it.

It seems that the intention for https://github.com/Jotschi/Aloha-Editor-Wordpress-Plugin is indeed to be a front-end editor.

But it's in a very early stage of development and I couldn't get it to work on my test setup.
