Client called today to tell me that the FEE stopped working. I can't seem to decipher why it did or how to restore it.
I disabled all the plugins but that did not fix the issue.
I would appreciate any suggestions as to where to find this problem.
The client loves FEE and so do I!
The site is http://featheryournestinteriorsllc.com
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/front-end-editor/
Is he still logged in?
Was anything upgraded (core, other plugins, theme)?
Yes, is logged in. Nothing was upgraded when FEE stopped working. Now I've upgraded everything in an attempt to fix the problem, but no success.
Thanks for your help!
The latest update to Front-end Editor fixed the problem and it is now working again. I'm not sure what it was but it is now working.
scribu, if you get a chance I would love to hear what you thought it might have been that caused this.
Thanks for the update and for a great plugin.
I have this exact same issue on a site I'm working on but upgrading didn't work in fixing it.
It seems that when the Edit button gets clicked, it's trying to the URL for the site instead of the data it needs along with the input field. At least, that's what it shows in the Console.
When I try to update the Thumbnail, it opens up the modal but instead of showing the regular thumbnail chooser stuff from WordPress, it shows the Home page for the website inside. Very strange.
Any help in trying to fix this issue is greatly appreciated.
