   I am developing a school website where we are using front-end editor to allow 2 types of users to edit custom posts on the front end, Parents & Teachers. Basically, I have noticed that it looks as if admin is the only one with control over editing posts. For instance, I login as a parent & submit a post (using gravity forms) and cannot edit that post, even though I am the default author of it. The only fix I have seen is to set everyone to admin, which is NOT something I want to do for obvious reasons.

   I am using Capabilities Manager to oversee user capability.

   Bottom line, is there any way to make adjustments to user levels within Front-End Editor? Or if not, what are the base requirements for users to edit their own posts only?

   This should just work. If a teacher creates a post from the admin area, can he then edit it via Front-end Editor?

   If so, then it means it's an issue with the Gravity Forms submission process. If not, it's something else.

   I have a grav form for logged in users to create posts. i have logged in, created this post, and do not have the ability to edit with Front-End Editor it unless I change the user level (via another admin account) to admin (10).

   Could this be a bug with the Capabilities Manager plugin?

   Please try creating a post through the normal admin interface and not through Gravity Forms.
