    Double email notifications is almost always caused by another plugin that is causing pages to be filtered twice. Plugins that automatically post information to Facebook, Twitter, or other social sites are usually the culprit.

    The best way to determine which plugin is causing the conflict is to disable plugins one at time then test the submission. Once you find the plugin causing the problem, please let us know so we can look into it. Sometimes there are ways to prevent this, other times, there is nothing we can do from within our plugin to prevent this behavior.

    Thanks for the quick answer! You were correct it was the “Sharepress” plugin that was doing it. thanks again!
