Amazon has a great feature called "people who like this book/item also like ..."
I would like something similar. And "related posts" plugins will not work, because I'm using WordPress for a gaming website -- hence, posts (games) have almost no content in them.
Are there any plugins for this? If not, what kind of algorithm can I use -- eg. tracking "29% of people who looked at this game, when presented with a random sample of 10 games, also picked this game"? But that might mean that the liked game just has a better picture/name ...

but i'm looking for another to customize or at least change the placement, although this will more than likely work for your needs.

That doesn't seem to be what I want; it looks like just keyword-analysis stuff (typical).
I already wrote my own plugin, leveraging on top of GD Star Rating. It wasn't as hardcore as I thought to write.

No, I haven't actually released it. It doesn't even have a UI, and uses some stuff specific to my site. If you're interested, I might be able to clean it up a bit; albeit that it's not too hard to write from scratch either.
