• Hello out there WordPress fans,

I have had some issues with uploading images on to my wordpress sites. I believe it has something to do with a memory limit set by my ISP. I’ve read various posts about how to work around this, but wasn’t convinced any of them offered a solid solution.

So, my first thought was, perhaps there’s a plugin that can upload images via FTP, but be built in to the WP admin interface. I was pleased to discover MyFTP does just that, but my next issues is how I then insert the images into my posts/pages after they’ve been uploaded. Ultimately I am building a site for a non-technical person and I don’t think it’s user friendly for them to have to type the whole URL of the image location in order to insert it.

Does anyone know of a plugin that enables you to sort of browse a specific folder on your server as it were and pick up the image url by selecting it?

The only thing I found via google search that is vaguely related to what I want was this http://www.realestatebloglab.com/blogging-in-general/customize-wordpress-insertedit-image/

If no plugin exists for this, I reckon it would make for a popular one if there’s an expert out there willing to try making it!

    Thanks for your help
