Hey guys!
I'm not sure if there is already a plugin for this, but here is what I would love to have (but don't know how to do/implement).
If you go to my site, ProjecTech, you will see that I have the menu on the left-hand side of my site. Well, I would love to be able to have ads (selected by admin) display underneath my last list ("Links"). If anyone could do this, I would greatly appreciate it.
Also, if you could implement a few other features: (1) controlled by admin only, (2) choose ads from a folder and where they link to, (3) choose what pages the ads would display on (maybe, which categories the ads would display on).
Thanks,
James O'Connor

Ads in the menu are uhm...special.
You will either have to rely on Javascript or edit index.php
If no one else is on this I might be able to tweak MooseCandy to do a basic version of this....but that would be to rely on Javascript
That's not quite true. You COULD have a plugin with a single function call in index.php that would generate non-JS ads from a listing on the server, and serve up random ones...
But, there's so many of those ad serving things out there...

Well, I was thinking that maybe if I had ads from specific sites and had them loaded into a folder on the site, than I could select which ones I want to display much like the current photo plugins.
Ummm, so you've made an aggregator for actual news pages, that scrapes the page for a picture then links back. I'll admit, that's pretty cool. Not sure how that relates here though...

So, does anyone have the capability, will-power, and/or solution? It just would have been cool.
Concerning the above post that "does not apply", I do think it's a cool plugin. With the google-pics plugin, can you control how many photos display?
