Floating Social Media Icon
[resolved] Where do I put the manual PHP code? (2 posts)

Hello! I have tried adding the manual php code to my functions.php file in a child theme of 2011 because I don't want the animation to happen - I just want the icons to be static.

However, when I put the code <?php DISPLAY_ACURAX_ICONS(); ?> into my functions.php file, it breaks my site and only displays a blank white page with no content, no theme, nothing.

I am a newbie and not sure where to put the code. Can you help me find the right place?

Otherwise, is there some code I can remove to take away the floating animation?

    Thank you!

    Hello Girathryn,

Thanks for using floating social media icon plugin..

You need to insert the code on your header.php or footer.php or any other template files which loads on all pages except function.php

function.php is the file to define and declare functions..

you can use widgets if your theme support widgets. so no need to worry about php code placement..

    Hope this helps..

    Thank you.
