Floating Admin Menu
[resolved] Issue when menu is fixed but window is narrow/horizontally scrolls (6 posts)

A bit of an edge case, but it can happen that the fixed menu "looks glitchy" when the window is tall enough to trigger the fixed positioning but narrow enough that the window horizontally scrolls (min-width on the admin).

More: the menu back isn't fixed and z-indexing is such that the overlapping is very obviously wrong. See http://s.hyhs.me/HHGu

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Forgot to subscribe to this plugin's feed. How exactly can I reproduce your issue? OS, browser, WP version, etc.?

I'm on OSX, looked at both Firefox and Chrome. Can't remember what version - probably trunk. I do a lot of core UI things, wanted to see what was up with that ticket :)

Mhh, I tested Safari, Firefox and Chrome on OS X 10.7 and I can't seem to reproduce your issue with WordPress 3.3 or 3.4: http://i.imgur.com/1EONk.png

Maybe it's a plugin compatibility issues, am I seeing some transparency on the wp-list-table in your screenshot?

What happens if you scroll horizontally to the right? That's when the overlapping happens for me. Just tested again in my trunk install.

I'll release 1.0.2 in the next few days!
