Flexible Frontend Login
No frontend validation, just redirect to wp-login.php (4 posts)

If a user inserts his credentials wrong, he is redirected to /wp-login.php where the Error box is shown above the default WordPress login screen.

The whole purpose of this plugin is to have a frontend login box so that users are not taken away from the website they're on. So validation should be handled in the frontend login box as well.

Are you planning on including the validation at the frontend in an upcoming release?

    Hi shortster,

you are right - that should be handled on the page itself. But since I am only a hobby coder it might be too difficult to implement because I do not know ajax processes very well which would be needed.

But I will think about it and find a solution adequate to my skills. I will let you know...

    Hi Palatino,
This is really a great plugin to use.

But, I am also in need to validate the login in the front end as shortster needs also.

It'd be great if we have it.

    Thanks for your help really.
