Well, shut my mouth!
I clicked on the little “compatibility view” icon in IE and the button magically appeared. Unfortunately, I don’t know if I’m looking at the “new” or “old” view, but whatever. My precious button is there.
Cheers!
Whatever version of IE your using, switch to a decent browser asap 😉
I don’t use IE except to check for compatibility. O ye of little faith! 😉
Same problem here: My flattr-button (WordPress plugin) shows up in my blog in Firefox, but not in the Internet Explorer (version 8).
I personally don’t use IE, but enough other people are, so I would love to hear a solution on how to show the button in IE as well.
Thanks in advance.
By the way: The “compatibility view” didn’t help…
@berlinrob: Couldyou provide a link to your page?
IE8 in IE7 compatibility mode doesn’t load the buttons. Switch from IE7 to IE8 mode (in developer tools, [F12] + [ALT+8]
) and they’ll appear. This is a problem in the javascript API .js file itself. I as a wordpress dev are unfortunately unable to fix this.
