    File Gallery version 1.7.5.1
    When I attach images already in media library to a page the count on the number of images in the media libary increased by the number of images attached. Now it says I have 90 unattached images total of 141 images and in actuality there are only 3 pages of images in the media library with a total of 47 images. It is very frustrating because I can't delete the images I can't see listed in the media library and every time I use file gallery the list gets worse!

    @Frank6tg:

    go to Settings -> Media

    scroll down to "Edit screens options"

    uncheck "Filter out duplicate attachments (copies) when browsing media library?"

    now you should be able to see all attachments in the media library, including copies.

    Hey, for some reason this setting isn't working for me. I unchecked "Filter out duplicate attachments (copies) when browsing media library?" but I still see that I have 5 items in my library, but only two will display in the library. The "phantom" items will display fine on the posts they are attached to, so I know they are there. I want to be able to see those items in the media library. (I've also got WPML running, not sure if that could be conflicting).

    By the sound of it these "phantom images" are generated by using the duplicate images feature of the Media Addon of WPML...

    I'll take a look at the Media Addon for WPML and try to make File Gallery compatible with it.
