I've got a strange bug with the 1.7 RC10 version. I insert thumbnails with direct link to image. After saving or publishing, the link to the image is changed into a link to the attachment page of the image ! If I insert the image through the classic WP system, I have no problem after saving or publishing.
Another (little) problem: if multiple images have caption and I insert all images in one time, only one caption is showed for all images.
@Li-An: I suppose you're talking about the single image insert, not gallery?

OK, found the problem and fixed it in RC11, will upload it soon.
It's actually WordPress' "fault" - if an attachment is not linked to the attachment page and has a "rel" value of "attachment", WP will rewrite the link so it points to the attachment page. I'll try to find the actual source code for this and find out why this is so.

Ouch, I've got a big bug with Firefox and Chrome with this RC11 version: after uploading images, when closing the WP upload window the black transparent background is still there and File Gallery widget shows an endless "working" icon. Tested on a no other plugin test blog.
The caption problem is still there on multiple images.
The icons are showing on the left of the widget. Is it normal ?
OK, fixed both bugs for RC12 - will upload it later today.

Thank you. The caption problem is solved but I had the black background problem showing another time. First upload of images run well but I wanted to add some more images and the problem occured. I will make some test tomorrow.
I suppose the plugin will be some modifications as WP files upload will change in WP 3.3 ?

It would only occur when working with HTML editor, because tinyMCE is then hidden, so File Gallery would try to call an (at that moment) undefined function.
The uploader in 3.3 is different (and much better), but that didn't really affect File Gallery. No big changes there :)
I work in html mode ! So it's the reason. I did not notice the problem before. I will try to upload my images in visual mode. Happy to see that the plugin will not be affected by WP 3.3
