Any feed that should be imported to the custom post type bypassing the post type and just published as usual posts without predefined tags, category, etc. settings. It is not possible to filter them in the edit page either.
It seems that the plug-in needs another update!
Any directions. Please!

Unfortunately not!
It was a critical issue for me and I moved all custom post types to regular post and instead created custom categories which called as the custom post type.
It is not a solution and just a workaround to prevent loosing information. Lots of work!!!
I haven't tested the recent update!
