   Hi,

   I've noticed Google can't crawl my website properly. This is due to the fact that I use the option: "Permalinks point to the copy on the original website". I do this because I want my visitors to go to the original website and not "steal" the contents from other website without giving them credit.

   I do want my website to appear in Google search results however, so I'm looking for a solution. I think it will help if I can create an XML sitemap file that Google (and other websites can use). I've tried a few plugins but they all create a file with the permalinks to the original websites. Not with links to the posts on my website.

   Is there a way I can create a XML sitemap that points to each individual post on my website? I don't even mind if I have to go and do some stuff in MySQL (as long as it's not too complicated ;-) and create one manually. The information is in the database, so this should be possible.

   I hope you can help me.

   Feedwordpress installs a filter on get_permalink() so when ever this is called it will check if the post is a syndicated post. If so it will pull the permalink from the appropriate custom field that it creates with each syndicated post saved.

   I'm sure this is based also on the option settings within Feedwordpress for having the syndicated posts render on your site or the providers.

   Overriding that behavior when you want to generate the sitemap from one of the available plugins like Google XML Sitemaps will take some effort.
