Import Tags from a Posterous Feed? (3 posts)

Hi, I'm creating an aggregating site to collect feeds from a number of different physics teachers posting photos of their classes.

I don't know whether it's a Posterous issue or a FeedWordPress issue, but tags don't come through on the posts from any Posterous feeds. In Tumblr and Blogger, tags are interpreted nicely and new Categories are created in my WordPress aggregator, but Posterous is giving me trouble.

Any ideas why this might be?

    The aggregator is here:http://pterodactyl.info/aggregator/
One example of a Posterous site is here: http://todayinphysicsclass.posterous.com/

    Thank you!!

Well, after looking at the actual text of the feed, I've convinced myself that the feed that Posterous spits out doesn't have any tag information in it... So I guess I'm just outta luck, unless Posterous decides to change what's in the feed.

    Oh well...

hey Joseph - posterous feeds can be further broken down to target tags. At the end of the RSS feed url, add ?tag=xxx where xxx is the tag.
