Looking at the feed for analyticallyspeaking.com at http://feeds.feedburner.com/AnalyticallySpeaking there are no images. Have you changed any settings in that blog?
Thanks for replying!
I guess I would buy that if my other feedburner included images: http://feeds.feedburner.com/ParceledGardens. But it also does not, yet the images are fed into my aggregate blog (jancaynes.com). Stranger yet is my 3rd feedburner: http://feeds.feedburner.com/azartisan/ieZd that is parsing images and forwarding to the aggregate site. No rhyme or reason that I can make out.
Any other ideas? I’m totally out of them myself!
Thanks!
Feeburner help:
Why don’t photos or images in my posts appear in my feed?
Your content items use “relative” links to images; for these images to display anywhere your feed is consumed, you must use “absolute” links. Here is an example of a relative link:
<img src=”/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/0041_1.jpeg” alt=”0041_1.jpeg” title=”0041_1.jpeg” align=”middle” width=”400″ height=”602″ border=”0″ />
To make this an absolute link, you should use the full site address:
<img src=”http://mywebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/07/0041_1.jpeg” alt=”0041_1.jpeg” title=”0041_1.jpeg” align=”middle” width=”400″ height=”602″ border=”0″ />
Note that we added http://mywebsite.com/ to the beginning of the src address above.
Once you republish your content items using absolute links, the images should also start to appear in the FeedBurner feed when viewed in a browser or news aggregator.
Okay, so the above is part of the resolution. In the media settings, the full url has to be indicated and then the second part is not to use summary option in feedburner.com. Now my images are finally porting over correctly. I hope this helps anyone else having the same issue.
