Page content would be deleted and replaced with data from one of the feeds.
Updated to 2011.0721 ran OK for 3 weeks.
On Monday 09-11, several pages were deleted and content replaced with the feed data.
Due to complex pages with substantial magic-fields data, the site required a restore from backup database.
Other aspects of this site:
- running wordpress 3.1.3
- cluster, at least 2 front end servers with a shared backend database
- guid's for deleted pages had not been properly migrated from development and did not point to actual URLs. 4 pages out of 448 with incorrect guid's were deleted. have since corrected the guids.
disabling module seeking replacement.
anyone have good recommendations for high traffic clustered sites?
