For the most part this plugin works great. I have an instance where I would like to use a span tag instead of a paragraph tag. But for some reason it is getting removed. I haven’t noticed this problem in other wordpress posts. I’m using the html editor not the wysiwyg.

    Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks!

In slideshow settings, you have an option to allow only certain HTML to be displayed into slideshow slides.
Setting is in Slide Content Options -> Allow these HTML tags. By default, only anchors and paragraphs are allowed. To allow span too, just add the tag to the ones already present in there.

Thanks for your reply! I ended up using divs as a quick fix… which might actually be the better choice for my purposes.

I’m now having trouble displaying images. The featured image displays fine but it won’t show any image in the text. If I set <img> as an allowed tag …the slide loads until it reaches an image tag. No image is displayed and any text that follows the image is also not displayed.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Can I see this somewhere online? Just tested locally and if setting <img> is in allowed tags it works, meaning I see the image in description.

I took a second look at this and if I remove the classes that wordpress automatically adds to an inserted image, it displays properly…. including the text that follows the image.

Sorry its not online at this point.

    Thanks for your help!
