• The slider is working like a charm for the most part. The issue I’m having is with the display of images on the slider itself. Images in landscape format are resizing nicely and displaying perfectly. However, images that are in portrait format are displayed in such a way that they are cut-off at the bottom.

Anyone else having these issues or have any insight?

    Thanks.

    Hi Stefan,

The way this plugin works is by requesting WordPress for the image size you enter and place it as background image. So if you’re displaying the slider in landscape format, let’s say 700px on 300px, images in landscape format will display correctly, maybe a small part of it (right and bottom) might gt cut off but will look OK. On the other side, if you display portrait image in landscape slider, they will be taller so when asking wordpress for the 700 on 300 size, you might get an image having 300 in height (or something close to this value) but the width will be significantly smaller than 700.

Best way to deal with this issue is by using images appropriate to what you want to display (landscape images for landscape slider). Don’t know if this answers your question in a satisfactory manner but it’s the best solution consuming the smallest amount of server resources since it uses the build in WordPress functionality.
