I have had trouble using FD-Footnotes with my blog since upgrading to WP 2.7.
One of the problems encountered is that the text following the insertion of the footnote is super-script until a new paragraph marker.
Also, some of the footnotes appear as regular text right in the body of the text where I want the footnote inserted.
Is anyone else having these problems? It started happening after upgrading to 2.7 and once I enabled WP Super Cache.

Let me add that the error above typically disappears when a hard return is put right after the footnote enclosed text; e.g. [1. Sample footnote.]
However, when I put text right after the footnote enclosed text (e.g. [1. Sample footnote.] More sample text.) some of the "More sample text" is deleted and appears in superscript.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
