• Hi Mike

Firstly… Thank you for an amazing plugin and dedication!

I am administering a site for a school, and they have an online admission form. I would like to convert to Fast Secure due to limitations with the current plugin. The form is extensive!

I would like to ask if the following is possible.

    1. Is there a way to use [ex_field1] [ex_field2] , etc in the E-mail: (form1) section of the plugin?
    2. Is there a way to customise the E-mail: (form1) to allow HTML formatting in the body?
    3. Id there a way I can use existing HTML form CSS and layout – by replacing <form> variables with those of Fast Secure?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards

  • 1. I do not understand your question
    see
    http://www.fastsecurecontactform.com/how-to-add-extra-fields

    2. You can enable this setting:
“Enable to receive email as HTML instead of plain text”
But that is the extent of the email customization. There are no templates to edit.

    3. No

    Hi Mike

Sorry for not being clear. What I meant was:

    1. In the mail that is sent to the admin (not the autoresponder), is there a way to include data from extra fields in the subject prefix? e.g.

Mail from: [user_something]. Needs info about [some_info]

where [user_something and [some_info] are extra fields that were created.

    2. What I am asking here is, can I create a template that will display the form data differently in the mail? What I am trying to do is when the site admin gets the mail from FSCF, it is pre-formatted to look like the offline (paper) forms they use.

    3. Oh, ok thanks. Was looking for a way to closely control the way the form is portrayed on a page. i.e. field placement, text formatting, etc to match my theme.

Thanks again – love your work.
Sorry for troubling you with all this.

    Regards
    Russell

    1. click ‘help’ next to subject prefix setting to see available tags. Make sure FSCF is at latest version, because I just improved this feature at last update.

    2. the email template is not editable because there is not one, sorry.

    3. you can adjust color, font and style, but that is limited.
You cannot make 2 columns or multi-page forms.
