Plugin Fast and Secure Contact Form not displaying properly

    I have installed the Fast and Secure Contact Form into my plugin directory, activated it, and sent myself a test email. the test email works fine.

    I put [si_contact_form] on a page. When I publish the page it says
    [si_contact_form]. The form is not showing and there is nothing else on the page.

    I also have the following plugins installed

    • FirstRSS – Exapanded
    • Google XML Sitemaps

    Could there be some incompatibility between these plugins?

    Just an extra note. I’ve tried viewing the page in IE7 and Firefox

    2.6.5

    I understand 2.6+ is OK

    Hosted with bluehost. As far as I know they meet PHP requirements

    P.S. FYI on the right hand side of this page (just above the resolved/unresolved status) it has the WP version, if people input it 🙂

    I dunno, maybe you should update your WP. I see no other reason why it does not work. The version could be the problem. Maybe this plugin really only works on 2.7+

    Let me know if you upgrade and it fixes it or not.

    OK, I’ll try the upgrade on a test website. If that doesn’t work it must be some sort of incompatibility

    Instead of upgrading WP I deactivated FirstRSS – Exapanded version 7.10.18 and your contact form worked, so there is obviously some sort of incompatibility between the plugins.

    If you know any reason why the two can’t co-exist or have any suggestions to fix it I’d appreciate it, as I’d like to keep them both…

    I see that the link to that plugin is no longer active so I’m not sure what’s happening. The author’s website is gone.

    Sorry, I have no knowledge of FirstRSS Plugin or how it works.

    Some plugins replace functions in the core wordpress, if they are not updated for the current version then features will break if you continue to use them. In this case it appears that FirstRSS Plugin breaks the shortcode feature of wordpress.

    Ok thanks Mike. your plugin is great. I just have to find something to replace first RSS so I can use it
