When using [faq faq_topic=”topic-slug”], it would be very helpful, if your plugin would print out the name (and possibly description) of the topic before starting with the list of questions, i.e.

    topic name
    topic description
    faq 1
    (...)
    faq n

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/q-and-a/ already has that feature, so please include it into your plugin too. Btw: How does your plugin distinguish itself from the one linked to?

Additionally, how about a shortcode that display all faqs, grouped by their topics (with headlines, descriptions), i.e.

    topic 1 name
    topic 1 description
    faq 1.1
    (...)
    faq 1.n

    topic 2 name
    topic 2 description
    faq 2.1
    (...)
    faq 2.n

    etc.

    Many thanks
    Ben

Since you can use the theme’s built in template hierarchy, you can make any sort of template you’d like. I’ve enabled the ‘has_archive’ setting so you can build off that. Based on this and some of your other questions, it sounds you are looking for some very specific functionality. If you’d like to discuss a custom build at my hourly rate, let me know.
