You can view the link to faq on the services and pricing page – I can’t get it to show on a menu either.
thanks!
Thank you so much for responding, I can see I wasn’t clear in my first post.
The first issue is how it’s displayed – I’ve seen a number of sites where it is displayed in a full page format, rather than the blog style layout – I simply want the questions all on one page, similar to this site http://www.glamairbrushtan.com/faq/. The layout on mine has them all on one page (where the expand/collapse works), and also on separate pages as posts. I can’t change the page type that I can see anywhere to achieve this. I tried going through the instructions again and i can’t see what I’ve done wrong. Not sure if this is a limitation of my theme?
the 404 error I am getting is when I use the breadcrumbs at the bottom of the page and click on home>FAQ, which should be the “main” FAQ page I think – I need to add this to my menu.
thanks again for looking at this for me! I’ve spent a couple of hours and can’t figure it out, I’m sure it’s a simple fix if I had more knowledge with wordpress.
by default, each FAQ is it’s own item, as that is how WordPress stores posts / pages (which FAQs are a type of post). Those are going to be there whether or not you use the shortcodes on a page.
If you want an FAQ page, you need to create it and add the shortcode. I may add an option to 301 redirect all the individual FAQs to a main ‘questions’ page, but that’s not there currently.
Thank you so much for your help. It was a simple fix! Ecellent plug in and fantastic support.
Much appreciated
Glad you got it sorted out!
