I've installed the plugin, and successfully connected to my photoset with a new API key. but I'm getting the following error repeated many times on my page before the display of the new fancy photo grid:
Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /nfs/c03/h05/mnt/52456/domains/mthoodfusionpass.com/html/wp-content/plugins/fancyflickr/index.php on line 154
Any thoughts?
Also - lightbox style overlay isn't working, upon clicking a thumbnail, it just goes to a new page showing the photo. ??
This has also happened for me before and is usually due to a problem retrieving the images from flickr. I'm working on a way to make sure this error message cannot be displayed as it's not critical.

Hi all.
Is there a solution in the next weeks for this issue?
I get the same messages in my justhost.com hosting, and I find this plugin the perfect match for my flickr account and my website.
Thanks for everything.

Josh,
Did you or breedpdx figure out the solution to the problem? I am having a similar problem where it *does* successfully fetch the photos from Flickr, but it doesn't display them in the lightbox when you click on them. It opens them in a separate page. I only seem to have this problem with my custom theme (but it works fine with the default twenty ten theme for WordPress 3.0).
Any idea on what files I can check within my custom theme to figure out why it is not working and what needs to be changed?
Any help is appreciated.
