   I am using a font which does not have BOLD capabilities integrated (natively) into the font.

   Are there any other ways to affect the weight of fonts rendered using FLIR?

   Not currently though the CSS as specified should be read to modify the font.

   Yeah, I've done that, even increased "font-weight" to 900. The font (itself) doesn't have any bold in it (as I said), so it seems that it just won't render as bold.
   (In Photoshop, I have to use the Faux Bold feature to get the bold effect.)

   Just curious if there's a known hack to make ImageMagick (or whatever) force a stronger weight.

   You probably can with ImageMagick. I'll see about writing a quick effect plugin to do Faux Bold - it might be a bit before I can get to it though.
