Tabs/Apps only visible to page administrators (3 posts)

First, this is a great plugin! We use it on several WP sites and love it. For some reason though, some of the Facebook pages only display the custom tabs we've create to the app author, or in some cases the page administrators. It doesn't seem to matter what browser is being used either. I verified that I do not have sandbox mode enabled too.

You can see the tabs that are on the page, but no content shows up.

We self-host on our secured server, but it shouldn't work for any of the sites if that were the issue.

    Here are two examples:

    http://www.facebook.com/RindieCokerDN/app_421560534547901

    Works here:

    Please help!

    Regards,
    Ben Clark

The pattern I'm seeing is that the content displays in https but not http mode. Did you register both variations on your URL? I think the reason it shows up when you're logged in is that your account is probably set to do https connections by default and will redirect even if you enter the http version, as long as you're logged in.

The other thing I saw when I tried to access your tabs with Safari for Windows was an error message saying Safari didn't recognize the certification authority for your site's SSL certificate. I didn't see that error in Chrome of Firefox.

Thanks for your reply David. Yes, I registered both http and https variations in the app, but it defaults to the secure URL. I'm checking with our web host on the SSL issue.

Is there any way to make sure the tabs are publicly accessible on secure and unsecure connections though?
