• I checked the source code to find out why the header of my site suddenly had a gutter with ‘seo’ linked at the right… it had hacked into my site via this plugin. Once I deactivated and deleted the plugin, the link disappeared.

    I will assume this was not intended and hope that you fix the security issue. If it was intended… well I’ll just assume it wasn’t. 🙂

  • I just noticed this too. Can you verify that you were hacked? I took this line out:

    add_action('wp_head', 'cred');
    function cred(){
    			  	echo '<div align="right"><small><a href="http://www.packages-seo.com/">seo</a></div></small>';
    }

    This plugin looks pretty awesome other than this guy trying to post a link back to this packages-seo.com site.

    Yeah, I had the exact same code in my header. Other than that, yeah awesome plugin.

    I had the exact same idd..
    I like the plugin, but I realy do dislike this type op failures

    I had the same problem but with the plugin Contact Form 1.0.0 I figured out what was going on because there was some bad coding (an extra -) within his plugin which was throwing my theme off. I un-installed his plugin and my theme was back to normal….drove me crazy trying to figure out where that extra “-” was.

    I have the same problem…I want to delete this line..but can’t find it..where is it?

    what is the css file called on my server?

    never mind I got it…I went to the Facebook ap on word press and edited the plugin…will someone go get this seo guy??

    Please contact plugins@wordpress.org with all of the relevant details.
