   I am trying to set up facebook publish with my blog since wordbooker isn't working properly. I have created the facebook app and I continue to get a conflict on the plugin.

   The error code says "Facebook returned an error: The site URL in your Facebook application settings does not match your wordpress blog URL. Please refer to the detailed setup instructions.
   [Error occured at line 555]

   Your connection options could not be validated."

   I have followed the instructions, but I cannot fix this. Can you please help me get this going?

   You dont have to change any files.
   I've got better and safer solution:

   You must go to edit site of your page: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/XXX_APP_ID_XXX/summary/
   Then on the left bookmark: Advanced and search the option in Migration called "Deprecate offline access". Turn if off.
   Now go to plugin settings, push again grant button and... enjoy plugin! :)

   Hi, I have tried to edit my page on developers facebook but still have error messages in my WP settings and have attached a screen shot for you too see.

   Was just thinking...you are referring to editing the app I created for my site in FB as in the screenshot below. Is this right?

   I have (as suggested by Kuba Mikita) disabled in Migration "Remove offline_access permission"
   BUT besides the error problem mentioned above, I keep getting my Application Secret and my Profile ID in RED (which must imply that I don't have those right too).
   Any suggestion? Please be gentle with your directions, I am no coding expert at all!

   It do not see ""Deprecate offline access" in https://developers.facebook.com/apps/XXX_APP_ID_XXX/summary/. I have entered into Advanced option on the left but the option there isnt.

   And what about the definitely remove of offline access, the plugin will work then?
