[Plugin: Facebook Page Publish] Error Line 597

    Hi,

    I’m getting this error :

    “Facebook returned an unexpected dataset. Try to resolve this issue, update the plugin or inform the author about the problem.
    [Error occured at line 597]

    Your application’s access permissions could not be granted.”

    I had the error at line 774 and made these modifications:

    $permissions = array(‘share_item’);
    preg_match(‘/access_token=(.*)&expires/’, $access_token_url, $matches);

    How can I fix that? Thanks!

    getting the exact same error. App ID and secret key are correct.

    is there a fix for this?

    I am having the same issue. Been fine all along, but in the last few days it won’t verify permissions, unexpected dataset and of course won’t publish. What’s the solution?

    I’ve tried changing code as shared in other topics, but that’s not helped. I also tried updating migration options and that doesn’t work either.

    I am having same issue. Getting both this error while adding plugin in WordPress version 3.4.1

    Hi,

    Same here with WordPress 3.3.2. Facebook Page Publish sometimes did “deconfigure” itself and I had to click again on “Grant Access” sometimes and everything go back to normal.
    But it’s not working this time…

    Hey guys,

    Not that this helps much, or solves the problem, but I was able to get it working again by deleting the App that I made in facebook, recreating it, and then entering the new Application ID and Application Secret in the plugin.

    My troubles started when the password for the facebook account the App goes through was changed.

    The plugin works again…for now.

    I’ve been having a hell of a time with this app on ONE site… Works GREAT, perfectly fine on 6 other sites… But I kept getting the weird “Line 601” “Line 597” Errors and the author, as you can seen, has been absolutely no help.

    I finally deleted the plugin and deleted that sites Facebook app.

    Re-installed plugin, created new Facebook app for website.

    Voila!

    Wow, I didn’t know that, and getting fed up with correcting the error every week, I was about to look for a plugin replacement…
