    Hey folks,
Some updates of our latest progress--

    Mentions
Facebook announced that there's now a mentions API. We're going to add support for this to the plugin, rather than doing feed publishing. This should have a huge benefit to our already-existing mentions meta boxes. Read more here:
    https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2012/08/21/bringing-mention-tagging-to-open-graph/?fb_comment_id=fbc_10151131707801812_24147783_10151131828401812#uh3uup_2

    1.0.3
Also, we're polishing up 1.0.3, which includes a bunch of bug fixes. You can see more in the changelog at https://github.com/facebook/wordpress/blob/master/readme.txt.

    Better Comments support
Rishi has been cranking at making comments much better for you. You can follow along at https://github.com/facebook/wordpress. This will likely launch as part of a 1.1 update.

Thanks and please continue giving us feedback!

Thought someone should say thanks for your efforts. Personally looking forward to 1.1 because of the Comments features.

Thanks, too. @beernews is right. But @Matt Kelly, could you give us some idea when updates will launch? It's been almost two months since the last.

I second that. It would be really nice with an update. Thank you.

Any idea when 1.1 will launch? I have a client who really wants this but doesn't want to lose his existing WP comments.

Hey folks, apologies for the delay. We've been sidetracked on this update because of World Hack (http://fbworldhack.com/). We're going to crank this week and early next to get it out asap. Thanks!

Yep, the next version of the Facebook plugin for WordPress is in active development. If you can't wait and don't mind things breaking you can clone the development repository on GitHub. That code will make its way into the WordPress plugins repository and light up your plugin update trackers once the code is a more stable improvement over 1.0.2.

I installed the Facebook for WordPress plugin on http://www.niek.be.
When someone posts a comment on the wall post of a new article on Facebook, should it be displayed on my site as well? Shouldn't they be synchronized?
And secondly, if I post a test post on my website, and it gets published on Facebook, after I delete the test post again, how do I remove the wall post on Facebook?

Please answer me asap, as I'm leaving on holiday tomorrow and would like to blog from there.

For example, comments to this post https://graph.facebook.com/comments/?ids=http://www.niek.be/2012/10/31/zuid-afrika-here-we-come/ on facebook, don't get shown on my website.

Ok, I noticed that if I mention someone when I post, comments put on the mentioned person's wall aren't shown on my website. If someone responds to the actual posting on my wall, then it is correctly displayed on my website. Is this normal behaviour?
