weird, in Firefox, the like stuff only shows correctly on the image attachment pages.

In my various testings I’m creating and deleting a lot of posts on this site so forgive me if the links change. Any image that opens as an attachment will demonstrate.

I’m running a seperate set of loops on my site to handel a specific category output and style. However it doen’t seem likely this is the cause. The post which displays the like buttons correctly is in the same loop/category as another post which does not display the buttons correctly.
The only difference is one post (the one which does NOT show the buttons) includes code to show the authors profile-bio info. The other post bypasses this because the profile-bio value is empty, falls back to the_author. And that’s the only difference!
Otherwie the buttons still show on attachment pages..? and one post…what the heck?
Upadated permalinks and now it’s all good.

Thanks for following up! If you have thoughts on how we could have made this easier/more obvious or we could fix it in the plugin, let us know.
actually I was either looking at the wrong browser or it just re-broke itself. same ol problem.
One thing that would help would be to know if this is a common issue in Firefox. I can’t think of what else to try. Looks like I’ll have to use another plugin or code just to get the like buttons. But I still need the facebook plugin for the post sending. That part works, except my fan page setting gets disabled after a yet to be detrmined amount of time. Not sure why that is.
