   You have an option in the widget to display or not display the credit, but setting it to 'no' does nothing. It always evaluates to 'yes' at run-time and prints some HTML which takes a long time to connect and usually times out or comes back with a 404. People who are SEO conscious or analyzing page load times are sure to notice this.

   Yeah - a link so you can vote up the plugin on cmsvoteup. I'd call that credit. But whatever it is, it adds to page load time.
