I'm having the same exact error. C'mon facebook, you're killing my site.

I'm just gonna disable this add-on until its fixed.

I am getting this error since yesterday and making it hard to add or edit posts...

    PHP Fatal error: Wrong parameters for Exception([string $exception [, long $code [, Exception $previous = NULL]]]) in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/facebook/includes/facebook-php-sdk/base_facebook.php on line 54, referer: http://mysite.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

Exactly the same problem happened to my site.

I cannot login to wp-admin. The only solution is to deactivate the plugin.
Could FB developer fix this asap?

Also deactivated it. At first it just didn't work, then it borked my site when I tried to post. Not good.

I was able to log in, but not able to access the dashboard. I went to widgets instead, which allowed me to access the facebook plugin, deactivate and delete it. I hope this works for you, too.

I had Hostgator log in to my c-panel and deactivate the plug in.

Delete it. Not worth the trouble.

Found a fix that I thought might reference this...

https://developers.facebook.com/apps/ and clicking Your App > Settings > Advanced

Find the line "Remove offline_access permission" and disable the setting.

    This fix didn't work....

@LocalLics This fix DID work for me and the Facebook plugin is back up and running!

Can you tell me how your "fix" worked? I'm not sure there's enough detail there to give it a try. I've (almost) given up on Facebook's wonderful new social plugin...
Thanks for the help. Facebook has been NO HELP!! From a flopped IPO to an epic failure on their first major WordPress plugin... Sad.

I disabled the setting and it now works. Simple as that. If you don't believe it, check my page out:

@aalendi Keep checking it. I thought this worked for me at first, then I discovered the error was intermittent. It will happen sometimes, and not others. if id does permanently fix the issue for you that's awesome!

    Ok I fixed the problem.
First you need delete your aplication in facebook developers and say thank for your solutions,
Then you need rename the facebook plugins in your localsite, http://www.yoursite.com/ep-content/plugins/facebook (rename the carpet/facebook-no)with Filezilla or others.
Wait a minute and go to http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php and delte the facebook plugins.
    Und thats is all.

This issue should have been solved in today's update, v1.0.2. Try updating and let us know if you continue to experience any problems.

If you can't access the Dashboard, you may need to use FTP or SSH to delete the [path-to-wordpress]/wp-content/plugins/facebook directory to uninstall the Facebook plugin first before getting the new version.
